**Project Overview:**

- Elsipogtog First Nation were not able to meet the required aesthetic objective (AO) of 0.02mg/L. of manganese as defined by the Canadian Drinking Water Guidelines (CDWG).
- Their current system could not meet the requirements for the expected increase in demand due to the projected growth of the First Nation.
- The decison was made to replace their existing system to increase the capacity and also meet the manganese AO Federal standards.
