**Project overview:**

- In 2009, the municipality of Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon (population 6,709) experienced an industrial boom along with increased demand for drinking water.
- While searching for groundwater sources, the municipality detected the presence of various contaminants in a well.
- The municipality had to expand its treatment plant to meet capacity and find additional wells to cope with demand.
- Multiple wells were drilled until one with sufficient capacity was found, but the water quality posed many challenges.
- In 2019, the municipality once again turned to Magnor’s engineers for expert advice in finding the right treatment to address those challenges. The final trial run lasted several weeks, giving us the time to find the best complex solution and make the water suitable for drinking.
